Russ Whitney

Russ Whitney has been around almost as long as Carleton Sheets. And, like Sheets, his material is not defined enough for most people to be able to go out and apply the techniques. Again, as with Sheets, the expensive "mentoring" is required.

Unlike Sheets, Whitney seems to prefer the use of "seminars" to get you interested - then sells you "up" to his expensive "boot camp" training sessions. This can run into many thousands of dollars.

The Russ Whitney people do not seem to understand trademark law, because they try to strongarm people who compare them against others (which is permitted under trademark law) - decide for yourself why they would not want to be compared with other methods (we already know). Undoubtedly, some of his clients seem to have done well, but the cost of Mr. Whitney's help is very expensive.

According to one of the Russ Whitney websites, Whitney has no use for the Better Business Bureau. We suspect it may be due to Mr. Whitney's rating at the BBB (The Russ Whitney group has "...an unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau due to a pattern of complaints...")
